A knight in shining armor, valiantly fighting Hell itself (none other!) to pass through a straight road 7 times, all to return to the loving embrace of their beloved [insert generic fantasy character name], Ruler of [insert generic fantasy world name].

Will you rise to the challenge? Will the Devil play fair? (Hint: doubtful).

GAMEPLAY

In Tryal Again, you will be able to do amazing things, such as:

-> Witness EXPLOSIONS

-> Cut down EVIL BUSHES (why not?!)

-> Swim in RIVERS

-> Observe local WILDLIFE

-> JUMP (but only once)

-> Cut down EVIL TREES (why not?!?)

THE TEAM

This game was made as part of the GMTK 2026 Game Jam, the theme being COUNT DOWN. We took a rather fluid interpretation to go for something a bit dark (but not too dark, we promise!).

We're a team of three software engineers (this is our first jam together): Nastyfox, Ikonic and PâtesSautées. As you can expect, the visuals are a mishmash of online assets, mostly from Kenney and other license-free  work from talented individuals (full credits below and in-game). This is a game jam, after all.
